While you are participating in a study, if Ethica detects any obstacle in the study operation, it informs you about it and helps you to resolve the obstacle. One of these obstacles are related to the studies which require monitoring your GPS location.
If you are part of a study which requires monitoring GPS signals, but your GPS is turned off, you receive a notification similar to the following:
In this case, simply tap on Turn GPS on and Ethica will take you to the phone Settings where you can turn on the GPS.
The Settings in Android to turn GPS on is different on different versions of Android. If you have trouble finding out how to turn GPS on in your Android, search the web and there should be many documents explaining how this can be done.
